Hey there friends! We’re normally a humble bunch, but we can’t help but be excited to share this fun news. Nelson hashtags MasterChef Canada on some of our Intsagram posts. Well, famous Canadian Chef, Michael Bonacini goes through many posts each week and selects a dish/picture to feature on the MasterChef Canada site. We’ve had many honourable mentions and a few of Nelson’s iPhone pics (pre-Photos and Food blog) have been featured in the past. But, this is the first feature that comes from our team project, this Photos and Food blog. Chef Michael Bonacini  gives our Greek Style Quinoa Salad the nod to become the feature photo on MasterChef Canada’s website under the Instagram challenge section.

There are lots of great dishes and pictures to choose from, so it feels kind’a nice to have ours selected as their feature. It’s also the first feature with one of my (Liz’s) pics, so I’m a little excited. There’s no prize other than a boost to our ego and the satisfaction for a job well-done—but that’s alright by us!
Check out our Quinoa salad picture on the MasterChef Canada site http://masterchefcanada.ctv.ca/InTheKitchen (yes…scroll way down… but it’s there!)
