Strawberry Frozen Dessert | 3 Ingredients | 5 Minutes

July 9, 2015 by Nelson Cardoso 2 Comments

Strawberry Frozen Dessert - 3 Ingredients in 5 Mins. Well, we went from Chili to a chilly dessert. How did that happen? No complaints–I like the ‘keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-stomach’ kind of surprises Nelson delights us with.

This was a guilt-free dessert night. I really should have more of these. This frozen dessert was made with only 3 ingredients–and no cream or processed sugars. And yes, it was really tasty!

Two of the ingredients are ones that we keep stocked in the freezer for smoothies and, well, desserts like this–frozen strawberries and frozen bananas. The third ingredient was Agave syrup which was our natural sweetener for this treat.

This quick-make treat (seriously…5 minutes) is perfect for surprise guests or a spontaneous dessert after dinner.

Please note that this recipe requires a very powerful blender because there’s very little liquid and the motor will work hard to blend mostly frozen ingredients. We recommend a blender offering at least 1 HP. Check your blender’s manufacturer documentation before trying this recipe. We can’t stress enough how important it is to use a powerful blender for this recipe.

5 minutes, 3 ingredients, and one powerful blender = mmmm… what a nice summer treat!

My favorite flavor combo would have to be strawberry and banana, so I am in love with this healthful little delight! YUMM!
