Sweet Farmers' Market Grilled Corn

Farm fresh grilled corn is so sweet and delicious, and it's easy to make. A few minutes on a hot grill, a little butter, salt & pepper, and you're set.

Serves: 6 to 8 portions
  • 2 fresh corn on the cob, husks and silk removed
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp refrigerated better
  1. Heat the grill between 450 ºF and 500 ºF, lid closed
  2. Cut the corn in three or four pieces each.
  3. Place the corn pieces on the hot grill and close the lid, while maintaining the temperature.
  4. After about 2½ minutes, open the lid and rotate each piece of corn about a quarter way around, close the lid.
  5. Repeat the last step until all sides of the corn have sat on the hot grill for about 2½ minutes and have taken on a slightly shared look. (about 10 minutes in total)
  6. Place the cooked corn on a serving dish.
  7. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper on each piece of corn.
  8. Place a dab of butter on each piece of corn and serve hot. Enjoy!
